Bodrum is facing desert heat with temperatures soaring as sun worshippers headed for the Bodrum beaches to cool off.
Mercury has already shot up and the current temperature in Bodrum increased to 41 degree Celsius in the sun and 33 degrees in the shade. Sea water temperature was measured at 22 degrees and tourists flocked to Bodrum beaches, and swimming pools to cool off from the summer heat.
Forecasters warned on of a steady increase in the already baking summer heat in the next couple of days in Bodrum.
Experts warned that with the continue effect of air temperature at the end of week, those in high blood pressure and heart disease, should not go in the sun between the hours of 12:00 to 16:00 and warned that you should drink plenty of fluids.
